  • What emotional or sentimental value can be attached to things that have been discarded or thrown away? In this ongoing workshop series people are invited to give old things new value by getting to the bottom of their story and giving the surface a new shine. The participants are asked to bring along a small object, e.g. a found object or an old toy, which they gild with leaf metal. The objects are photographically documented along with their stories to one day form an archive of artifacts that carry sentimental value.
